Meet the Staff
TODD ROBERTSON - DIRECTOR OF MISSIONS
The Louisville Regional Baptist Association called Todd Robertson as Director of Missions in October 2016. He assumed his duties with LRBA on December 1st of that same year.
Throughout his ministry years, Todd has always had a heart for and served in the local association. During his years in Louisville, he has volunteered, served a term as Moderator, and served on staff at LRBA. Over the last ten years, he has chaired the Church Planting Team. It’s clear that he loves this city and is committed to the work of the churches of this association. It is exciting to consider how God might use us as we come together to reach the people of Louisville for Christ.
Rev. Robertson served as pastor of Bethany Baptist Church for three years. After mission trips to all but three continents over the years God opened the door for a new and exciting role in missions. Todd and his wife, Kim, were blessed to serve as North American missionaries from 2002 to 2005. During those 3 ½ years he was the Missions Strategist for LRBA.
Todd brings a wealth of experience in church planting. He was lead planter/planter of two churches in the Ft. Lauderdale area. In May 2005, he served as Associate Pastor of Missions at Walnut Street Baptist Church. In 2009, Walnut Street sent him out as a church planter. A strong desire to lead Walnut Street to re-engage in church planting ultimately led to a personal call to plant Antioch Church in the south end of Louisville. The vision and early development for Antioch began in the spring of 2009 and weekly worship was launched in May 2010. Antioch has since started New Breed Church in the west end, and Asha Church, reaching mostly Bhutanese-Nepali refugees.
Todd and Kim have three sons, Alec, and twins Nathan and Nicholas. Alec is a graduate of the University of Louisville. Nathan is a student at Cedarville University in Ohio. Nicholas has a rare genetic disorder, Angelman Syndrome, which has severely limited his development, but not his happiness. He is a student at Butler Traditional High School. Kim is an exemplary mom and also works in a school cafeteria and keeps everyone in line. Todd just tries to keep up!
